I, Dr. Manish Singh, started this company in 2014. With a vision of an Asian Subcontinent where every doctor is provided with the tool of quicker diagnostics; with minimal know-how. We strive hard each day to make this vision come true until every patient receives affordable, reliable and accurate diagnosis as and where required. I being a cardiologist myself, have come to understand over the years of my practice, the essence of time in the field of medical science.
While it is a fact that more than 50 Percent of treatment decision making is based on some diagnostics, it still accounts for less than 3 Percent of the cost of healthcare. Developing countries lack modern laboratories, fully-automated instruments that provide highly reproducible, quantitative, and hence, sensitive accurate diagnostic results. Rural areas often lack basic diagnostic devices and trained personnel. The scarcity of water and stable electrical services are additional challenges for delivering health care in these areas. This is where we come in with our Point of Contact or POC diagnostics. POC accounts for short turn around time, portability, minimum manual input, cost-effectiveness, and ease of use which make it an ideal system at the primary care level. Especially in places where there is no laboratory infrastructure.
The potential benefits of these rapid or POC diagnostics include the short turnaround time (TAT), minimal manual input, portability, low cost, immediate clinical decision-making, and “ease-of-use” formats so that they can be successfully deployed at the primary care level and are particularly amenable for use in remote settings with poor or no laboratory infrastructure.
I believe that the core of this company lies in it's people and their strong belief that every test that goes into the hands of a practitioner it helps in the faster diagnosis hence saving time and in turn saving lives.
